Partner organisation
The African Women Leaders Network (AWLN), operating under the umbrella of the Rwanda National Women’s Council (NWC), was established in December 2011. The Network facilitates peer learning, mentorship, and collaboration among women leaders at national and community levels, enabling them to exchange ideas, share experiences, and co-create solutions to common challenges. Through its thematic commissions such as Women’s Economic Empowerment, Governance, and Youth and Mentorship AWLN provides inclusive spaces for dialogue and action, promoting solidarity, trust-building, and mutual support among women leaders while enhancing their capacity to influence and drive change in their respective spheres.
