The Ministère des Relations Internationales et de la Francophonie (MRIF) coordinates the Nouveau Québec sans frontières (NQSF), an international solidarity program for Quebec international cooperation organizations. It contributes to the international effort to fight poverty and social exclusion, in a perspective of sustainable development, human rights, including equality between women and men, and women's empowerment. CECI's NQSF aims to consolidate its work in its three programmatic priorities: Economic power and women's rights; Women as key actors in resilience and climate action; and Working in fragile contexts and protracted crises. It aspires to test innovative pilot initiatives in close collaboration with four partner organizations in Burkina Faso and Guatemala to learn from them in order to generate models that could eventually be applied on a larger scale.
